beach waves vs. blowout curls

Beach waves have been in for a while now. We’re here to let you know that they are fading out and blowout curls are stepping in. We’ll breakdown the difference between these curls and how to achieve them with your tools on hand.

Beach Waves

Defining factors: piecey, messy, tousled, and full of texture.

To achieve this look curl each piece but leave out the ends. Comb out with a wide tooth comb or your fingers for the perfect messy beach wave look.

VERSUS

Blowout Curls

Defining factors: softer, fluffy, bouncy, polished.

You can achieve this look without a blow dryer by using a bigger curling iron. Curl from the root all the way down to the end. Once your hair has cooled brush with a paddle or wet brush. To get this look with minimal effort, invest in a dyson or shark airwrap.
